Founding Story

Acid reflux sucks, especially when it bubbles up during the worst times – while exercising, speaking to your boss, or after a heavy meal. Our founder, Brent, dreaded the constant burn he’d get each time he hiked up to the base of a rock climb or during a run. Plus, he longed to replace the electrolytes he’d lost in his sweat, but all the electrolyte mixes he could find were acidic and would cause his stomach to gurgle even more.

Frustrated but determined, Brent started playing with his own mix of electrolytes, focusing on making it both alkaline and full of electrolytes. As he started using it more, not only did his acid reflux improve, but he started noticing how his muscles didn’t cramp as frequently, and he felt more hydrated, even during times of heavy sweating.

Brent started sharing it with his friends who also struggled with acid reflux. They experienced the same improvements he did, and couldn’t get enough of it. Eager to help others like him, Brent started packaging it in larger quantities, and distributing it to folks in his local community.
